English teacher — Gymnasium No. 1
For three years, I taught English at a boarding school, working with Grades 8–11 and, in my final year, Grades 5 and 7. My lessons combined clear explanations and structured practice with discussions, games and creative tasks. I also prepared students for the OGE and EGE, Russia’s state school examinations.
As a homeroom teacher, I supported students living away from their parents, helping with everyday difficulties, organising class activities and maintaining contact with families. Building trust and a sense of belonging was central to my role.
I completed professional development courses annually and earned Russia’s First Qualification Category for teachers. I attended a teacher development programme at Mashuk as my republic’s sole representative and contributed as a speaker at a republic-level webinar on functional literacy.
